DLF IPO Subscription details on day 1

Date June 11, 2007

The DLF IPO has done extremely well on day 1. It has generated excellent subscription interest from institutional investors. With a successful day 1, the grey market price of DLF Universal’s shares have gone up significantly. THE DLF IPO has received bids worth roughly about 8000 crores on day 1. The exact category wise split of the subscription details will be available by the end of the day. So do check back to this blog after 6 o clock today.

Update : The DLF IPO has been subscribed by about 0.80 times. The institutional investor category has been oversubscribed (subscribed 1. 28 times). The other categories have no received much subscription interest. I guess this in a ploy by investment banks and other powerful friends of DLF’s promoter KP Singh to generate some hype. The institutional investor applications can be gradually withdrawn at a later stage.
