Power Grid Corporation IPO price band fixed

The price band for the Power Grid Corporation IPO, which will open for subscription on September 10th 2007 and close for subscription on September 13th, has been fixed. The floor price for the Power Grid Corporation IPO is Rs. 44 and the cap price is Rs. 52 per share. Power Grid Corporation is a public sector company and hence has priced the IPO at a very reasonable valuation. Analysts feel that the Power Grid Corporation IPO will revive the IPO market which is presently in doldrums.
